Transit information

Departure times, routes, stops, service alerts and vehicle locations are based on publicly available transit data. Information may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable or changed by the transit provider.

For time-sensitive or important travel, confirm details through official Metro Transit services before leaving.

Walking time and catch guidance

Walking time, “leave now” guidance and similar messages are estimates based on available location, distance, departure information and the user’s configured boarding buffer. Actual walking conditions, accessibility, traffic, weather and transit operations may differ.

Location, saved stops and privacy

Location access is optional and is requested only for features such as walking-distance estimates and automatic stop selection. The browser or operating system controls location permission.

Saved stops, route filters, settings and appearance preferences are stored locally in the browser unless otherwise stated. Submitting the feedback form sends the information entered by the user.

Anonymous usage measurement

MyNextMetro records a small number of anonymous product milestones and daily usage signals, such as opening the app, successfully loading departures, returning on a later day, saving a stop, opening the live map, opening a transit alert, or installing on a supported Android browser. This helps measure whether the app is useful.

The measurement uses a random browser identifier stored locally. It does not include your name, email address, exact location, saved Stop IDs, route selections, or departure searches.

MyNextMetro is provided as-is without a guarantee that the service or its information will always be accurate, complete, current or continuously available.
